SCAFFOLD ERECTOR
Course Description
This course presents the OSHA regulations for scaffolding, including fall protection requirements. Members who successfully complete the regulations are then required to complete hands-on training for: Welded Frame and Mobile Tower, Tube and Coupler, and Systems scaffolding that OSHA has identified as the most prominent types of scaffolding in construction. Members completing this 40-hour course receive a Scaffold Erector and User Qualification card from the UBC that is valid for 4 years.
Special Instructions
Tools and/or supplies needed: Clear safety glasses, hard hat, work boots, pen/pencil, notebook and highlighter. **Tools needed will be discussed on the 1st night of class.**

| Certificate Type: | This is a qualification issued by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC). |
| Certificate Expires: | Four (4) years from date of course completion. No Grace Period for this Qualification. |
| Refresher Requirement: | Before this qualification expires, an eight (8) hour refresher class is required to maintain active status. |
